IRISS National Distributor * Infrared Windows for All Electrical Safety Applications

The IRISS VPFR (Viewing Pane Fixed Re-enforced) range of IR windows use the IR1 & IR2 lens assemblies. These are the first infrared viewing pane lens assemblies to be tested for the impact and flammability requirements of UL standard 746C 6th Edition and 508A as well as the impact and load requirements of IEEE C.37.20.2 section a.3.6 and pass.

Important Safety Note:
The VPFR Range meets the mandatory IEEE standard (C.37.20.2 section a.3.6) for Visual viewing panes in medium and high voltage electrical equipment (36 kV Metal Clad and 72 kV station switchgear) and allows IR inspections to be completed safely in line with the requirements of NFPA 70e. No other Infra Red Viewing Pane assembly available today can meet these requirements (severe pressure, impact and flammability).
